You already have a following and influence culture. You’re surfacing and driving people to the artists and scenes that don’t get all the promotion, but are an important part of the cultural fabric.
The tools we're stuck with to track events are fractured, stifled by algorithms, or buried under paid-for promotion. Your stories disappear. Your picks get buried. Your lists stay trapped in newsletters, notes apps, and text threads.

Currently there's no way for people to easily create a feed of events across all their interests, that's specific to thier individual tastes.
Features
Users follow any source posting events . If we don't already have that source in our database, users can drop in the URL of the events page (music venue, promoter, art gallery, speaker series, museum). Literally anything with an events page. All events from that source will be added to the user's feed.
There's a Curator section where users can follow the event picks of people who are already steeped in the scenes they care about (art, punk, techno, etc). When a user follows a Curator, that Curator's picks will show up in their feed.
Users can see on a map what events are happening right now around them, soon, or that night.
Users can make collaborative lists with others to track events they're looking forward to.
There's no paid for promotion, or algorithm that predicts what the user cares about, and venues / artists/ promoters don't have to pay a dime to have their events discoverable and accessible.
Rich previews help users better understand the events, so they can quicky determine if they want to attend the specific events.
The outcome is a platform where users are empowered to pick and follow their personal interests, events big and small get the same recognition, and Curators are celebrated and help elevate the events they care about most.

We want you involved.
Help use build a better event discovery ecosystem — curated by people who care.
